Mint green compliments Rustic, Vintage

On 7 November 2015, Leone and Donny celebrated their most beautiful day at the lovely Oak House, in Cullinan.  From our first meeting to the last minute of their special day these two could not get enough of each other, their love for was so inspiring it made my job of creating their dream wedding decor so easy.
Leone had a very specific theme and COLOR in mind, she really wanted to have mint green decor.  We combined different elements of rustic, vintage and modern flair to create this stunning wedding setup.  I loved every moment of this wedding.

They wanted to have stylish yet simplistic look which combined a vintage and rustic feeling.  The high roof trusses was an absolute addition to create the soft yet elegant atmosphere.  We draped the trusses with burlap and white cotton bunting, but combined it with small cut out mint green and large white lanterns.  A special element was the custom made lace heart table numbers which hung from the trusses in the middle of each table.

Engela from La Koeka Racha once again out done herself in creating the most amazing wedding cake, we used some of the fresh sprayed succulent roses for the finishing touches on the cake.

The large number of candles used was the cherry on the cake and set the romantic mood from the start of this love filled reception.

Leone and Donny, you walked into Oak House on the day of your viewing and you have not yet left my heart, i met you as clients and we are friends today, thank you for being such a perfect reflection of true love, and allowing me to live my passion to create beautiful decor for you.

Lots of love, Carien
